Wesley Moore

Wesley Moore, 86 of Sandy Hook, KY formerly of Ohio passed away, Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Morgan County Appalachian Regional Hospital at West Liberty, KY. He was born November 9, 1936 at Goddard, KY, the son of the late Willie and Octavia Howell Moore. He was also preceded in death by two wives, Lavera Hostetler and Hazel Reams as well as children Kenneth Moore and Karla Blair. Brothers and sisters: Sylvia Moore Hicks, Gloria Moore Hall Sterling Moore, Willie Moore, Jr., McKinley Moore, Mamie Moore Brooks, Edna Moore, Lucy Moore Warren, Betty Moore Seagraves, Bobby Ray Moore, Anna Jewel Moore and Carolyn Moore.

Mr. Moore was retired from United Refrigeration where he was an appliance repair man.

He is survived by his wife, Cloma Knipp Sturgill. Two daughters, Connie Dawson and Julie King as well as two step sons Mitch and Jerry Sturgill. Grandchildren: Rusty Dawson Doris Miller, April Rose, Donna Garver, Barbra Baker, Brian Blair, Karen Huffman, Danielle Ramos, Mike Edwards, Todd Eyre, Kellie Ball, Jeremy Sturgill, Heather Jarvis Brittany McGraw, Derrick Sturgill and Nolan Sturgill as well as numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral will be conducted Saturday, October 28, 2023 at noon at the Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook, KY with visitation starting at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Mount Leigh Cemetery at Seaman, OH.
