Stephen Ward Obituary

Stephen Keith Ward, age 74 of Ashland, KY passed away on April 25, 2023 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Keith grew up in Sandy Hook, KY, a town he loved and friends that he cherished over the years. He worked as a pipefitter with Local 495 and traveled to different locations across the country. He made friends everywhere and enjoyed the simple things in life. His favorite hobbies included fishing and watching UK and Boyd County sports. He was especially fond of the Boyd County Girls Basketball team and Coach and taking his dog Tanner to the games and practices to cheer for their team. He will be dearly missed and always fondly remembered.

Keith was predeceased by his father, Charles “Junie” Ward. He is survived by his mother Lois Rose Ward. Two daughters: Meleah Dawn Ward and Stevie Ward. He is also survived by a sister Renaye (Dan) Sparks and brother Craig (Donna) Ward

At his request, an informal memorial visitation will be held at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook, KY on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM Until Noon. Friends are invited to come by and share their fondest memories of Keith.
