Ruby Woods Obituary
Ruby Barker Woods, age 74, of Thousandsticks, KY, passed away February 1, 2021, at Adams County Regional Medical Center at Seaman, OH.
Born May 5, 1946, in Elliott County, she was the daughter of the late James Harvey and Mary Alice Sparks Barker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Woods; brothers, Ray Barker, Ples Barker, and Burt Barker; and sisters, Blanch Laney, Mary Fay Lawson, Linda Lou Nelson, and Erma Ison.
Mrs. Woods is survived by one brother, John Barker of Seaman, OH; one sister, Ruth Pennington of Grayson, KY; as well as a host of extended family that will sadly miss her.
She was of Baptist faith and a homemaker as well as a cafeteria worker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm, Friday, February 5, 2021, at Lewis and Ferguson Funeral Home with Franklin Gillum officiating. Burial will follow in the Barker Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11am till 1:00pm on Friday, February 5, 2021, at Lewis and Ferguson Funeral Home, 603 N. KY &, Sandy Hook, KY 41171.
COVID-19 mandates will be observed including masks and social distancing.
