Rinda Jane Oliver, age 87, of Isonville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Elliott Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sandy Hook, Kentucky.
She was born March 29, 1933 on Wells Creek in Sandy Hook. She was a daughter to the late Willie James and Jessie Jewell Barker Spencer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen D. Oliver; sons, Larry Oliver, James Owen Oliver, and Barry Oliver; daughter, Sylvia Kabler; granddaughter, Segrid Kabler, and siblings Inez Smith, Irene Wagoner, Mary Roseberry, and William Spencer.
Rinda is survived by one loving son, Garry Oliver (Barbie Oliver) of Isonville, KY; three adoring daughters, Willodean Evans (William) of Bracken Co. KY, Joyce Oliver of Isonville, and Nadine Oliver of Isonville; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ferguson of Paintsville, Kentucky.
Mrs. Oliver was a devoted mother. As the youngest of five siblings, she valued family. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was a devout Christian often singing gospel songs. She was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Lewis and Ferguson Funeral Home with Mike Adkins, Toby Roe, and Josh Sloas offiiciating. Burial will follow in the Fannin Cemetery of Isonville, KY.
Visitation will be 11:00a.m. till time of service.
COVID-19 restrictions will be observed. Social distancing requirements will be observed also. Our max capacity at this time is 50 people.
