Pauline (Smith) Stapleton

Pauline Stapleton of Sandy Hook, KY passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Elliott Nursing & Rehab Center in Sandy Hook, KY. Pauline was 86 years old. She was born August 6, 1935 in Elliott County. Pauline lived there her entire life where she met and married her husband Leslie Stapleton who preceded her in death in 1986. Also preceding her death her beloved son Leslie, Jr., brothers John Smith, Cecil Smith, Dan Smith, Paul Smith, Joe Smith and one sister, Jewell Salyers. Pauline is survived by two brothers: David Smith of Phillipsburg, PA and Michael (Beth) Smith of Sandy Hook, KY. Two sisters:  Judy (Ronnie) Keeton of Fairborn, OH and Suzanne Hoover of Kettering, OH along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pauline was a Christian and attended Laurel Gorge Enterprise Baptist Church. She was loved  by many and will be missed by all. Pauline's wish was to be taken by the good Lord to be with her husband, son and all the beautiful flowers that Heaven has to offer.

Funeral will be conducted Monday, March 21, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Bro. Rodney Gilliam and Bro. Franklin Gillum officiating. Burial at Elliott County Memory Gardens. Friends may call after 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
