Patricia Carol (Ison) Adkins

Patricia (Patty) Ison Adkins, age 78, passed away October 13, 2023, at Ashland, KY.  

Patty was born in Bruin, KY on September 9, 1945 to the late Lovel and Delilah Lewis Ison.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Delmas Adkins; and brother, Austin H. Ison.  

Survivors include her sons, Brian Dale Adkins and Patrick Allen (Karissa) Adkins both of Bruin, KY; a daughter, Lynn (Matt) McPeek of Catlettsburg, KY; grandchildren, Morgan, Nick, Luke, Danae, CJ, and Kingston; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jaymas; brother, Roy Ison of Bruin, KY; as well as a host of extended family that will sadly mourn her passing.  

She was a member of Upper Bruin Baptist Church and retired from State Farm Insurance.  

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Upper Bruin Baptist Church with Michael Bruce Lewis and Jessie McDavid officiating.  Burial will follow at Wagner Lewis Cemetery.  Visitation will be from noon until time of service on October 16, 2023 (12:00pm - 1:00pm).

Pallbearers include Clay Ison, Lova Ison, CJ Dixon, Matt McPeek, Brian Adkins, Nick Conley, and Patrick Adkins; and honorary pallbearer, Roy Ison.
