Maxine Porter, born the 18th of November, 1930 to the late Mary Etta Fyffe Hayes and Willie Hayes in Ashland, KY gained her heavenly wings on Easter Sunday, April 12th, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY.
She married the love of her life, Warner Porter on October 19th, 1950 in Westwood, KY.
Maxine was an avid traveler and had traveled to all 50 states and several other countries. She was a proud, independent woman who supported herself and her family after becoming a widow at the young age of 39. She was a member of the Rock Wall United Baptist Church in Bruin, KY since 1970. She loved her family and was very proud of them all.
In additions to her husband and parents; she was preceded in death by sisters, Irene Sheffield and Christine Miller; brothers, Dennie Hayes, Lowell Hayes, Russell Hayes, Denver Hayes and a grandson, Steven Cole Porter.
She is survived by her children: Donnie Porter, Lynn (Angie) Porter, Richard (Cindy) Porter, Mitchell (Sonya) Porter and Mary (Renny) Fraley.
Grandchildren: Chris (Hilary) Porter, Kelly (Lisa) Porter, Tracie (Bill) Holder, Tina (Nathan) Whitley, Sarah (Josh) McDaniels, Erin (Joe) Adkins, Emily (Branden) Adkins, Dawn (Thomas) Wright, Jason (Jessica) Porter, Robert (Ellen) Porter, Lauren (Wes) Tudor, Nick (Rachel) Porter, Taylor (Lara) Fraley, Hunter (Amanda) Fraley
Great Grandchildren: Ali Fraley, Chase Porter, Colin Porter, Kaylee Porter, Blake Holder, Halli Holder, Tiffany Kincaid, Kane Whitley, Kobi Whitley, Kole Whitley, Keri Whitley, Caleb McDaniels, Hannah McDaniels, Lilly McDaniels, Gracie Harper, Christopher Adkins, Hunter Adkins, Levi Adkins, Miley Adkins, Isaiah Turner, Grace Wright, Harper Wright, Riley Kate Porter, Harris Porter, Audrey Porter, Gideon Tudor, Jaxon Porter, Lydia Porter, Silas Fraley, Eliza Fraley and babies Elias Fraley and Madeline Porter on the way.
Great Great Grandchildren: Ava Fraley, Luca Fraley, Dillon Kincaid and Brianna Kincaid
And brother, Eulas (Betty) Hayes as well as nieces and nephews.
