Jeweline Judy (Williamson) Carter

Jeweline (Judy) Williamson Carter, 73 of Sandy Hook, KY passed away at her home Friday, October 29, 2021.

Mrs. Carter was born November 8, 1947 in Sterns, KY; the daughter of the late Albert & Ruth Sexton Williamson. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Ina Branscum as well as two brothers, Drew Williamson and Don Williamson.

She loved going to church where she would sing, play piano and accordion and loved listening to the Singing Cookes.

Her and her husband spent 20 years traveling. They were most happy when they were traveling all over and meeting new people. A big thanks to Jett Tours for taking her and dad on so many amazing trips. On those trips, they met friends to last a lifetime. Her favorite phrase…Take The Trip.

Mrs. Carter worked as a telephone operator in Sidney, OH then transferred to Greenville, OH. She finished her career in the office at Gilardis Pizza in Sidney, OH.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years this past January 25, 2021 Elbert (Jr) Carter. Her daughter, Julia & husband Kevin Frazier of Anna, OH. A son, Jerry Carter of Sandy Hook, KY. Four grandchildren:  Jordan & Michael Frazier, Emilie & Kiersten Carter. A step grandchild, Paige Clarkson. She is also survived by two sisters and a brother:  Rosa & husband John Withrow of Sidney, OH; Linda Paschal of Sidney, OH and Clinton & wife Diane Williamson of Wisconsin. Her family and friends will miss her so very much.

A special thanks to her caretakers:  Christy Hutchinson, Roberta Fraley, Sandy Howard, and the many great caretakers over the years from First Light Home Care of Eastern Kentucky. A special thank you to all the nurses from Hospice over the last few months.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook, KY with funeral services following at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Elliott County Memory Gardens at Sandy Hook, KY
