Jack L. Harmon, age 73 of Elliott County, Kentucky, passed away March 23, 2024 at his home.
He was born on January 28, 1951 in Fleming County, Kentucky.
Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Rumple; son, Rick Harmon; a special aunt he loved like a sister, Martha Bays; and two granddaughters, Bree and River.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Patty Prewitt Harmon; a son, Billy; five daughters, Tina, Carolyn, Heather, Jackie, and Brittany; many grandkids and great grandkids that will dearly miss him; three brothers, Jim, Bill, and Mitch; and two sisters, Linda and Kay.
Jack was a family man that enjoyed spending time with his children, grandkids, and great grandkids. He was a "JACK" of all traits, able to fix and repair most everything. He spent time working on engines both small and large. He could build anything.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2024, at Lewis and Ferguson Funeral Home with Doug Auxier and Willis E. Blair officiating. Burial will follow in Watson Family Cemetery on Middle Fork in Sandy Hook.
Pallbearers include Adam Sparks, Don King, Mitch Rumple, Tim Gibson, Matthew Elliott, Kevin Elliott, Billy Harmon, Rulie Hutchinson, and Shane Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Caudill, Weston Saprks, Isaiah Keeton, Bailey Keeton, Johnathan Harmon, Josh Harmon, Phillip Prewitt, Jim Rumple, and Mitch Rumple.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Lewis and Ferguson Funeral Home.
