Ivory Marie (Oneal) Adkins

Ivory Marie O’neal Adkins, 93 of Sandy Hook, KY passed away at home November 22. 2021.

Marie was the daughter of the late Rosco and Hazel Adkins O’neal. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Brack Adkins. She also had bothers and sisters that also preceded her in death was  five brothers:  Curt, Clell, Noah, Bud and Armel O’neal. Four sisters:  Barbara O’neal Adkins,  Arlene O’neal Wambles, Magelene O’neal
Elliott; an infant sister, Ethel Deloris O’neal. Above all, a Christian and lived that life. She was a member of Straight Creek Enterprise Church at Elk Fork. For 18 years Brack and her was owners of Wesley’s Department Store, before that 7 years at the sewing factory at Morehead. She was known as a hard worker.

Her Survivors are: Elaine Gilliam & husband Joe, Sandy Hook, KY; Delease Brooks & husband Ben of Elk Fork; and Debra Kay Cassity & husband James of Sandy Hook.

Funeral will be conducted Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook, KY at 1:00 PM officiated by Bobby Smith, Jeff Adkins, Joe Gambell and Jason Ison. Friends may call after 6:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial at Elliott County Memory Gardens. A video will be shared later this evening
