Gladys Pelfrey Wells, 95 of Olive Hill, KY passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the Carter Nursing & Rehab Center at Grayson, KY.

Gladys was born June 1, 1927 in Morgan County, the daughter of the late Forrest and Rinda Cox Pelfrey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Wells, two sons: Howard Richard Kelly and Michael Lynn Kelly as well as two stepsons: Kenneth Wells and Russell Wells, Jr., a step daughter Judy Hovenden. Two grandsons,Toby Kelly-Jasso and Jeremy Kelly and a great grandchild, Marie Carstens.

She worked many years as a certified nursing assistant at many nursing homes.

Gladys is survived by her children: Timothy & wife Pat Kelly of Olive Hill, KY; James Paul & wife Janet Kelly of Louisa, KY; William Thomas & wife Terri Kelly of Stubbenville, OH; also, step daughter Barbara and husband Dick Carstens of Florida and step daughter in law Phyllis Wells of Florida.

Twenty-six grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren, eleven great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews also survive.

Burial will be at the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa, KY at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 22, 2023 under the direction of Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook, KY.
