George Stafford

George Stafford, 84 of Sandy Hook, KY passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Community Hospice at Ashland, KY. Bro. Stafford was born July 6, 1936 in Elliott County, the son of the late Harry and Addie Holbrook Stafford.

Bro. George was a Christian. He was a member of the Fannin Church where he was a former Pastor. He was a former heavy equipment operator and a coal miner.

He is survived by his loving wife, Erma Pennington Stafford as well as a sister, Imogene Skaggs of Stark.

Funeral will be conducted Monday, April 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Sloas officiating. Friends may call after 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Elliott County Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers: Chris Dickerson, Skylar Dickerson, Jimmy Adkins, Chad Dickerson, Leroy Stevens and Joe Holbrook.

Honorary Pallbearers: Family and Friends.
