Elsie Brickey

Elsie Brickey, age 79, of Xenia, OH, was welcomed into heaven on May 27, 2020. Born on July 8, 1940 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Grace (Williams) Brickey.

She is survived by  her loving daughter Beverly LaBranche and son-in-law EJ LaBranche of Charlottesville, VA and granddaughter, Brooke Nicole LaBranche of Alexandria,  VA.

Brothers: Bill, Basil and Johnny Brickey. Sisters:  Alma Peyton (Predeceased),Alva Ison and Bernice Hutchinson.

Elsie was a kind and gentle soul to all she met. She worked until the age of 75 when she retired from Walmart pharmacy in Beavercreek, OH. She was a member of the Xenia Nazarene Church. Her daughter and family were blessed to have her with them in Charlottesville, VA in her last years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home in  Sandy Hook, KY with Tim Hamilton and Larry Dale Ison officiating.

Elsie will be laid to rest at Elliott County Memory Gardensin Sandy Hook, Kentucky.

COVID-19 recommendations will be honored.
