Dorothy Sparks Obituary

Dorothy Williams Sparks, age 88, of Mazie, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

Dorothy was born November 24, 1932 at Roscoe, Kentucky to the late Dewey and Nancy Lewis Williams.

She was a postmaster at Mazie, Kentucky for 31 years. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 68 years, Pearlman Sparks; daughters, Rhonda DeLong and Leila Sparks, all of Mazie; sisters, Martha Ferguson of Seaman, Ohio, Sue Wheeler of Waverly, Ohio; and a brother, Homer Williams of Morehead, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by brothers, Bob Williams, Bazil Williams, and Dean Williams; and sisters, Ilene Osterhage and infant Cynthia Williams.

Dorothy will be forever loved and missed. In memory of our mother, do something kind for someone as she would.

A private service will be conducted at Elliott County Memory Gardens in Sandy Hook, KY.
