David Allen Marx

David Allen Marx, age 56 of Sandy Hook, KY passed away on July 1, 2021 at his home.

David was born on December 7, 1964 at West Liberty, KY.

David was the son of Minnie Marx of Sandy Hook, KY. The grandson of the late Bertha & Logan Clevenger.

David was preceded in death by one daughter, Colissa Marx, two brothers:  Samuel Marx and Robbie Hunter. Also four sisters preceded him:  Debra Clevenger, Rosetta Notestine, Tabatha Marx and Barbara  Marx.

David is survived by six children:  Michael Marx of Sandy Hook, KY, Shaun Marx and George Marx of Savannah, Georgia, Destiny Marx of Salyersville, KY, Belinda Kegley of Sandy Hook, KY and Kaylee Marx of Sandy Hook, KY.

He is also survived by 3 sisters:  Velinda & Jeff Dennis of Sandy Hook, KY, Matilda & Brian Jenkins of Sandy Hook, KY, Anita & Curt Simmons of Grayson, KY. One brother, Nick Marx of Sandy Hook, KY. A granddaughter, Callie Young of Salyersville, KY. He is also survived by his fiance’ Sandra Slone of Sandy Hook, KY as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who will sadly miss him.

David enjoyed riding his scooter around listening to music and spending time with his family and friends. David was a kind soul who was good to all that knew him.

Funeral will be conducted Sunday, July 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook, KY with Markie Howard officiating. Visitation Sunday at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at the Dennis/Marx Cemetery.
