Cecil B Smith

Cecil B. Smith, 85 of Sandy Hook, KY passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center at Morehead, KY. He was born February 21, 1936 in Elliott County, the son of the late James (Jim) and Lillian Neece Smith. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Eveline Smith Jones as well as a special aunt,Vestie (Chet) Click Smith.

Cecil is survived by his loving wife of 66 1/2 years, Barbara Ellen Reynolds Smith. Four children:  Keith Smith of Grayson, KY; Patty & Eugene Winkleman, Kecil & Barb Smith and Dallas Smith all of Sandy Hook, KY. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends who will sadly miss him, but will never forget him.

He was a retired logger, but never really retired from farming. If he wasn't physically able, he was mentally able to advise and share his knowledge and know how, passing it on to his legacy. He was saved July 8, 1999 and baptized with his wife July 25, 1999. He was a member and deacon at Fannin Enterprise Baptist Church.

Funeral will be conducted Friday, May 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook, KY with Bro. Larry Dale Ison and Bro. Jason Ison. Friends may call 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial at Elliott County Memory Gardens.
