Billy Floyd Phillips…of Sandy Hook, Kentucky 83 passed away May 1st at his daughter’s home in Reedsville, Ohio surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born September 14, 1936 in Mazie, Kentucky.
He was an Army veteran, loved bluegrass music, and playing guitar.
Preceded in death by his wife Rose Ann Denton Phillips; parents, Dockie and Lurana Kelley Phillips; three brothers, Willis J. (Flo) Phillips, Wilford I. (Clotene) Phillips, and Alvin G. "Al" Phillips; two sisters, Wanda I. (Olgie) Gilliam and Grace D. (Edgar) Gilliam.
Survived by his daughter, Rhonda Phillips of Reedsville, Ohio; a son, William “Scott” Phillips of
Coolville, Ohio; five grandchildren, Tabitha Savoy of Canton, Ohio, Sabrina (Jeremy) Cline of Racine, Ohio, Sasha (Scott) Chipps of Reedsville, Ohio, Jenna Collins of Reedsville, Ohio, and Kirstin Phillips of Plain City, Ohio; ten great-grandchildren, Kaylee Savoy, Kasey Savoy, Emma Semelsberger, Maycee Cline, Jeremy Jr. Cline, Grayson & Caydon Chipps, and Jaydynn, Wyatt and Paisley Collins; two brothers, twin BobbyL. (Barbara) Phillips of Galloway, Ohio, and Ron Phillips of Grove City, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Drive through hour will be Wednesday May 6th from 11:00am until noon followed by interment and Military Honor at the Elliott County Memory Gardens, Sandy Hook, KY.
COVID-19 Restrictions will be observed.
