Betty Jo (Lyons) Wilder

Betty Jo Lyons Wilder, 89 of Sandy Hook, KY formerly of West Liberty, KY passed away October 19, 2023 at Kings Daughters Medical Center at Ashland, KY. Mrs. Wilder was born June 1, 1934 at Crockett, KY, the daughter of the late Lan and Pearl Osborne Lyons. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Wilder. Two sisters:  Christine Davis and Ruby Rogers and three brothers Sherman, Harold and Lowell Lyons as well as a son in law, Cobern Wilson.

Betty enjoyed to shop, doing puzzles and talking on the phone.

She loved her family and she was adored. Surviving are her son, David Markie and daughter in law Connie Wilder of West Liberty, KY. and her daughter Pamela Wilder Wilson of Sandy Hook, KY.. She is also survived by her grandchildren:  Kimberly Wilder (Myra) of Kansas, Cody Wilson of Sandy Hook, KY and Justin Wilson (Amber) of Morehead, KY. Two great grandchildren Grayson Wilson and Logan Newby. A sister, Jean Hutchinson of West Liberty, KY and a brother James R Lyon (Jean) of Elliott County. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

Funeral will be conducted Monday, October 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Lewis  & Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook, KY with Visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at a later date.
