Anna Lee Vansant, 86 of Sandy Hook, KY passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020 at her home. Ann was born December 27, 1933 in Elliott County, the daughter of the late John Earl and Lizzie Shelton DeHart. Ann was a homemaker…a homemaker means so much more than the words to fit on this page. She was a Christian and a member of the Sandy Hook United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Henry Vansant. Also, she was preceded by her brothers and sisters: Ollie Stegall, Opal Porter Fults, Charlie DeHart, Arville, Addie and Glen DeHart. Also Delbert DeHart and Golda Fugett.
She is survived by her children: Nancy Susan White, Malinda Ann Sutphin, Dr James Addie Vansant, Katheryn Elizaberth Kentner, and Laura Caroline Elam.. 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren.
Funeral will be conducted October 21,2020 at 1:00 PM at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, KY. Burial at the DeHart Family Cemetery. Officiating: David DeHart, Laken Howard, Katherine White, Jerry Lewis.
Burial at the DeHart Cemetery. Friends may call after 6:00 PM Tuesday and after 9:00 AM the day of service.
The family as well as the funeral home asks that you wear masks, social distance and Lewis & Ferguson has masks and hand sanitizer. CDC and the Governor mandates applies.
