Allie Mae (Skaggs) Lewis

Allie Mae Lewis, 85 of Louisville, KY, formerly of Elliott County, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Baptist Health at Louisville, KY.

Mrs. Lewis was born May 28, 1934 at Roscoe, KY in Elliott County, the daughter of the late Arnold Louis and Maudie Alice Ison Skaggs. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lewis; an infant daughter, Kimberly Robyn Lewis; Brothers and sisters, Ray Skaggs, Nancy Hutchinson, Ernie Ferguson, and Joseph Skaggs.

Mrs. Lewis was of the Baptist faith. She was a cafeteria manager at Lebanon, OH and she taught school.

She is survived by two children:  Jeffery Paul & wife Jodi Lewis of Shelbyville, KY and Paula L. & husband Glen Holston of Louisville, KY. Her grandchildren:  Hannah Jo Lewis, Rachell Nell Lewis, John Paul & wife Nicki Holston, Joseph Holston. Three great grandchildren:  Liam Moore, Hayden and Nolan Holston. A brother, Ford Skaggs of Wurtland, KY also survives her.

Visitation will be at 10:00 AM at the Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home, Tuesday, May 26, 2020 with funeral following at 11:00 AM with Bro. Roger Skaggs and Bro. Rob Ison officiating. Burial will be at the Elliott County Memory Gardens at Sandy Hook, KY.
